Natasha’s Story

Natasha is an actor and writer from Washington DC now based in Los Angeles.

Her love of performing started when she was four years old with ballet. Shortly after moving to France though, she was told she was too expressive and should try Jazz.

Natasha discovered musical theatre and plays and the rest was history.

After earning a degree in Drama and Dance from Kenyon College, Natasha worked in DC theatre for five years where she performed at the Kennedy Center, Ally Theater, Annapolis Shakespeare, and Anacostia Playhouse. Her one-woman show Conversations which she produced, performed, and wrote, was a hit to sold out crowds during the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival.

In 2022 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of film and television. She studied at UCLA’s professional programs in TV Writing and Screenwriting.

Her feature film HOLY MOUNTAIN gained placements in screenplay competitions at Holly Shorts Festival, Austin Film Festival, Screamfest Horror Festival, and HorrOrigins Festival. She is currently writing her next horror feature KEEN, a dark retelling of Irish folklore through the lens of feminism.

Horror films are her true passion, her goal as a writer and actor is to bring women’s stories to the forefront of horror storytelling.

Natasha currently studies acting at Shari Shaw Acting Studios, and has trained at Studio Theatre Acting Conservator, Stella Adler, and Gately-Poole Studio of Acting.

In addition to her work as an actor and writer, Natasha also works as a standardized patient to use her performing skills to help medical students learn about patient care and interaction.
